Patients referred to the Center for Gene and Immunotherapy have access to both approved immunotherapies as well as promising targeted therapies under evaluation in clinical trials.

On average, the center receives more than 1,200 new referrals annually and oversees more than 150 cellular therapy infusions and 400+ bone marrow and stem cell transplants each year.

Inpatient care is provided in a 110-bed Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Unit at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Patients also are seen on an outpatient basis in the Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine.
